Gudorrka, Northern Territory (Revisited)

The media box at Gudorrka has acted as a focal point in the community since its completion and has helped define the spatial ‘heart’ of the community. In the many visits to Gudorrka taken by the Bower Studio people the building and shade structure have proven to be very robust and the paintings along its side remain a welcoming sight.
The 2014 Bower Studio team working at Belyuen spent day at Gudorrka repairing the paving and planter boxes. This provided a group of six students the chance to meet another community and see how a project designed and built by their peers has fared over the years.
